1-800 Flowers please end yourself

I ordered a dozen roses for same day delivery to be guaranteed to be delivered today and of course they didn't do it. I have spent alot of money at this company. I will never be doing business with them again. I ordered it a few days ago and I am in south florida so weather is not an issue. They just flat out screwed me.

next time, dont wait till the last minute. flowers are very hard to come by on valentines day if dont preorder

atleast in my experience, they're hard to come by.

That may not have been the problem.

I read earlier today that in areas hit by the snowstorm, some people weren't getting their orders delivered because 1-800-Flowers uses local florists, and the local florists weren't delivering because of the weather.

It's in the fine print of their guarantee too, an "Act of God" means they don't have to guarantee delivery.

Sorry man, but ordering flowers the day of or day before? I agree that offering a service they can't back up is sh*tty, but your girl won't really care.

OTOH, make a trip to Costco if you can. Usually they have a huge display of roses for sale just for V-day. And their flowers are much more affordable than the local flower shops who jack up their prices on this day.

i odered from ftd on jan 28 and they haven't been delivered...according to the tracking, they left them in ohio instead of boston...needless to say i'll be getting some money back soon!

same day delivery means its delivered the same day you purchased or ordered it

Proflowers did the same to me Apparently, my roses are stuck in New Jersy somewhere, possibly b/c of the snow.......

I ordered 2 weeks ago too.....

I ordered from Proflowers yesterday afternoon and they came this morning. Very nice roses too and for a decent price. I tried 1800flowers before and had mediocore results.

i am on the same boat as you....supposed to be in boston....but its not here.....

On a different note, I went north of boston today (lowell upwards to nashua, nh) and teh roads are horrible.

Well no sh1t. They did the EXACT same thing to me today. I called at 5:30 and sat on hold for freaking 45 mins. They said they had been on the truck since 5:20 AM and they didn't know where they were. They said they'd call me back and I've not heard back since.

1800Flowers freaking blows.

I find personal delivery to gain the most points. You are there for that htank you kiss, and the coworkers getting extra jealous that you took the time to delivery instead of just throwing money at the day means even extra points.

I waited until yesterday to order from 1800 Flowers. Got lucky and they got delivered today while she was at work. I was getting nervous because I never got a tracking number or anything from them.

Sorry that it didn't work out for others...
