1.8" SATA SSDs

I'm looking to upgrade my laptop to SSD-goodness. I've got my eye on the Intel X18-M (34nm/G2 varieties), but I can't find any vendor selling it. Anyone know of any good substitutes? I want TRIM support and no stutter. I didn't take the time to read Anands anthology fully, but it made me consider only Indilix controller models (OCZ Vertex) and Intel. Since my laptop only takes 1.8" SATA drives, I'm kind of limited to the X18-M.

most folks buy these in bulk for oem integration. since trim support doesn't exist yet i guess a little wait won't hurt.

I've been talking to distribution about the 1.8 Intel. Intel has a stop ship on it now, and pretty much said that the drives won't be available in any decent quantity until Q1 10

thoughts on RunCore w/ Idilinix controller?

More searching- it doesn't look like there's much info about RunCore implementing TRIM support. The dollar:GB also seems significantly higher than Intel's SSDs. It makes me kind of want to wait for the X18-Ms to hit the channel. I could fill up 80GB pretty quickly- 160GB seems more interesting to me. I think my coursework will peg me at ~20 GB in the next 2 yrs, and I want some side storage, so here's to hoping for the G2 160 X18-M's speedy release!
