1.8 Northwood SL62P-- Worst Overclocker Ever!

I received my replacement from Intel a few days ago. Hoping to get a C1 stepping, I was disappointed to find a B0 stepping.
But I thought, "Hey, can't be too bad." Boy I was wrong.

Even with extreme cooling, etc, the highest I could go was 2.3 GHz at 1.8 v/core! If I lowererd the v/core slightly, Windows would lock up immediately and reboot.
So just a warning to those with this stepping, don't try to O/C it!

I have an SL63X B0 p4 1.8 on p4b533
crucial 512MB 266ddr @ 1:1 CL2

stable @ 2.4 w/ 1.525 vcore (the board wont do an even 1.5)

stable @ 2.6 w/ 1.55 vcore

havent tried anything higher, as it gets a bit hot @ 2.6 running prime95.
Still.. I'll be clucking this thing soon enough in favor of a 2.53 mVID C1

Anyone else had problems with the SL62P, or SL63X for that matter?

My SL63X 1.8A hits 2.7ghz with 1.7 (1.68 actual), but I run it at 2.6ghz regularly with 1.65 (1.62 actual).

Sorry to hear you got a bum chip though.....🙁
