1.4 Ghz P-4M equalivant to what p4 533/800 cpu?

If we are talking the centrino it is a mixed bag.....In some of my testing the 1.5ghz centrino performed faster then 2ghz but slower then 2.4ghz....However in scientific calculations like FH, superpi, and prime95 bench it performed poorly with it not even matching 1800mhz p4....

I used my 2.4b and clocked to 100fsb for the 1800mhz....clocked it 111fsb for 2ghz....133fsb for 2.4ghz....

Edit: I can't remember where I put that info...I though I posted it somewhere, but now I can't remember....I guess I may have to run some knew numbers but now it will have to be my p4c chip downclocked...Cool thing is I can get a DCDDR view (since first time it was SCDDR) and I downclock to 1.3ghz as well....

The p4 1.4m is eguivalent to a p4 1.4! Simple as that. But the good thing is that each p4 1.4m I have owned could always run at 2.4ghz minimum in a desktop environment

A Pentium 4M at 1.4GHz performs exactly the same as the desktop Pentium 4 at 1.4GHz, with a 400MHz FSB.

The Pentium M at 1.4GHz performs close enough to a desktop Pentium 4 at 2.2GHz or so.

Yeah I like to know what one test that was cause I test scientific test, multimedia est, archiving test, and it didn't show me much in my opinion....

I like it cause the battery saving is the real feature here. In most apps I run in a day on the business laptop 1.5ghz is overkill. I can charge my battery like once every other day and handles all my uses. With both batteries in even longer...
