1:37am Last night and my TV turns on....by its self... :scared;

Last night my mom wakes me up becuase she thinks someone is downstairs. I walk down there and the tv is on...my dog is barking at the window, but I can't see out of it real good. I walked over to it make sure the door is locked (Door Wall) Every door is locked....my remote doesnt work.,...how did this happen?? 😕
 
Your remote doesn't work? If it's because of low batteries, they might cause something like that.

Dog sat on remote long enough for it to kick in?

It is broke......only the power button on it is. And the button on the tv is broke, to turn it on you have to shove a pen up there.

The dog and his buddy , the cat from next door, were watching info-mercials and were getting ready to buy some jewelry from QVC, when Mom got up to pee and scared them. The cat went out the doggie door and the dog was simply telling him to bring the remote back.
Hint... Don't leave wallet out at night.

I programmed my friend's cell number into my speeddial and called her in the theatre right after the movie finished. 😀

lol reminds me of 11th grade where one of my classmates brought a universal remote to school and messed with every teachers head during each period. ahhh good times. my geography teacher was so confused he was spazzing out.. lol.
 
seriously.. a power spike or dip can turn on your TV. I've had that happen before. especially if you have it on a surge with several other applicances.

gotta admit... that would scare the bejeezus out of me too.
