I am using a Millenium Glaciator I in an Enlight 7237 case. One case fan on the front bottom, another in the back. However, the IDE cables block the flow of air from the bottom. I am thinking about installing a side blowhole across from the cpu. Any thoughts?

installing a sie bloshole would be a good idea you temps seem high. with mu XP 1700 at 1.57GHz i run 43icld 48-50 load. id also try to see if you can get your ide cables out of the way. mabey get some round ones. i just got some and it helped to clean things up a lil. im also installin 2 more case fans so i shouldbe golden

Athlon XPs run cooler than Thunderbirds.

My 1GHz AMD Thunderbird AXIA @ 1.4GHz is at 49ºC idle. I have a Thermaltake Volcano 7 HSF, replaced the 80mm Smart Fan with a more quiet 2900RPM 80mm Coolermaster fan.

I have a 1.1 tbird @ 1333 w/1.85v. I'm using an OCZ gladiator w/a thermaltake 60mm fan on top, AS2 as the paste. I have 4 80mm Panaflo L1A case fans total, 2 on the side of the case blowing on the cpu and video card, and 2 at the top blowing out the back. Depending on the temp of the room, I idle from 48-52C, topping out at 62C under load. I know this is hot, however try as I might, I can't crash this thing.

I have a Duron 750@1000 that idles at 38°-40°, depending on my room temp.

I had an Athlon 1.2@1.33 that idled at 28°.
