Romo is going to fuck up the hold again.

Yea.. sure.. Too bad he isnt the holder anymore, so that cant happen.

It's Romo, he'll find a way to make it happen.

What do you mean "It's Romo"

Its not like he has had a history of freak playoff failures. Stop hating!

I don't really know what I mean... I don't follow him. I just know he choked against Seattle big time and he did the worst choke of all.. the choke because of a girl. Plus Dallas started great but has been complete shit lately, I think they get too much credit.

LOL "the choke because of a girl"

Stop listening to what the media tells you buddy... JS was at the two previous Cowboys games as well. Both games which the Cowboys WON. The media exploited the fact that she was in the crowd that day because Romo had an off-day, and its bigger news to blame a hot celebrity GF than it is to tell the story as it really is, which is he just had a bad day.

And if you werent watching the last week of the regular season, Dallas didnt play many of their regular's, and T.O. wasnt even in the lineup due to his sore ankle. So not really sure what you mean by "been complete shit lately" but you obviously dont follow football too closely.

The two things I have to add are that it is extremely tough to beat any NFL team 3 times in a row & over the last few weeks NY has played better football then Dallas, so Big Blue does have a shot at this.

You say you are a Giants fan, and then point out two good reasons why they should/can win the game, YET you pick Dallas?

Dude, not sure what world you are living in. But in my world, you aren't anything close to a being a Giants "fan"

You must be confused .... I've been a Giants fan for 35 years & likely went to more games when Joe Pisarcik played QB then most ATOT "Giants fans" have been to total games including the infamous last-play Csonka fumble against Philly, as well as a bunch of home playoff games over the years.

Just because I think Dallas will win this game does not mean that I want them to win it .... with the possible exception of the Eagles (see above), the Cow-pies are my least favorite NFL team.

Don't mind him, he just enjoys stirring the pot in the football threads.

This is what I mean:

Sun 12/9 at Detroit W 28-27
Sun 12/16 Philadelphia L 6-10
Sat 12/22 at Carolina W 20-13
Sun 12/30 at Washington L 6-27

Almost losing to Detroit, playing poorly versus Carolina, with losses to Philly and a horrendous outing versus Washington. The only excuse is the last one because one side was very motivated and Dallas didn't give a crap.

I'm so used to this irrational sh*t from anti-Patriots fans, I understand how you feel akshatp. Go Cowboys!!!

Again, you fail to realize that Dallas had everything wrapped up pretty much after that WIn against Detroit. Sure they had a bad first half that day but did you see the comeback? Or even the highlights?

Anyway, Ive got plenty of confidence that Dallas will get the job done as they did the first two times they met with the Giants this year. Wade will have them ready.

And look at NE against Philly, Balt, New York, and Indy. Who gives a sh*t? They have the division title, first round bye, and home field; that's all the need and want. Their season was successful.

Im not confused. There is a reason 60,000 Dolphins showed up in Miami 7 times this year even though their team stinks. They all went expecting to watch a victory by Miami, no matter how improbable it was or who they were playing. Its called having faith in your team.

I get that you are a Giants fan, I am sure you are and dont doubt you for one second. But I NEVER, and especially not in a playoff game, write my team off. No matter who they are playing, I always think positive for the team I follow. Whether its the 16-0 Pats we are facing, or the 1-15 Dolphins.

Oh, settle down. The question is who do you think will win. He picked the Cowboys because he thinks they're a better team. That has absolutely nothing to do with being a fan or not. And he didn't write the Giants off, he said he thinks Dallas will take it. Leave the man alone. Oh, and GO GIANTS.

Hey I wasnt gunning him TP... I was just saying that as a fan, I would never publicly say I thought my team was goign to lose a playoff game, and then give good reasons why/how they can win.

I don't think he's writing his team off at all, he's just making a prediction that follows his logic. If you can't admit that your favorite team is capable of losing to what appears to better, stronger team, then you would be even less of a fan in my opinion. Take example in two opposing jackasses: Phokus and ballmode.

As long as we have that straight !!! 😉

I actually give the Giants a shot to win this game especially if Eli can manage to throw the ball to the right color jerseys this time around, however unlike Tampa Dallas has a big strong defensive line which can put a lot of pressure on the QB without giving up on defending the pass & the Sam Madison injury is really going to hurt us if Romo can get mustard on his throws with his thumb-problems ... we'll see.

Heres hoping for Giants @ GB in the NFC championship game! (btw I picked Seattle to win next week too! 😀 )

This Cowboys - Giants thread is nestastic.

I'd like to see the Giants win but Eli sucks so hard that there's no way it will happen. Of course I wouldn't mind being wrong.
