elSmoko, if you run Win2K then the 75GXP won't be detected properly. I couldn't get the drive out of PIO mode and finally must run it on the HPT Raid as single drive. It's a combination of Win2K and Via Busmaster drivers not able to handle ATA100 drives. I heard some beta Via 4-in-1 drivers may alleviate the problem somewhat. I do not install 4-in-1 after I read about the problems people are having with it.

I was having trouble getting my 1.1GHz Tbird past 1150mhz. I figured its gotta be good for at least 100mhz over stock with the fine AMD-supplied Taisol HFS. Then I happened to glance down at my case.

I ripped off my Intel(tm) Inside(c) - Celeron(c) sticker and replaced it with the supplied AMD sticker.

1250 at 12.5x100 rock stable.

AmazonRasta,
Thanks, that is cool. My duron is week 47 I guess, although I have no clue if that means it'll be good or not. I'm still waiting for that mobo ;)

Nikepete,
Have you contacted either ibm or abit about it? I copied some files onto the 75GXP from my current bh6 setup no problem... I've actually got another one sitting in the g4, so might try and pull a raid setup when it arrives. I hate how none of the kt7-raid/kt7a-raid reviews talk about the performance of the raid in their reviews.
I'm out

My 1GHz TBird will POST at 1337MHz, but the fastest I can get it to run 100% stable has been 1177MHz. I'm going to keep trying though. I really want that extra 23MHz for 1.2GHz :)

interesting. my syetem won't even start with a 11X or 11.5X multiplier so i said "what the heck" and tried 12.5 and it posted and booted into windows. so i seem to have gotten past my previous barrier. it also posts and boots with a 12X multiplier. now i have to find a stable speed to stick to.

my tbird retail does 1313@1.8 on my msi board. it won't go any higher with more voltage or better cooling. it will actually do this speed at less voltage but I just leave it just in case.

Damn...my system stopped booting with both 11 and 11.5 multipliers today! I took the CPU out and redrew the lines on the L1 bridges again. Now it works again!?! Also, it is now 100% stable at 1.2GHz :) I have no idea why; I'm running at the same voltage and BIOS settings! Going to try for even higher now...

It might be good. My previous chip (the one I brok the core on) was week 49 and it did 1.2GHz nicely! Good luck overclocking it!

Oops, better make that 1156MHz!:p

AmazonRasta: 1133 = 133fsb x 8.5 clock multiplier. Also, 1156 = 136 x 8.5. Woohoo!

<< Not all of them. I have just went thru some week 50 and 51 that would not break 1150 and as low as 1100. You get >>

How do you tell which one did you get?

As NE1 tried this with the new MSI Turbo?
