The author of that article is unnecessarily harsh. I don't really see why he has such an issue with it. Yes, it looks bad in the picture but the picture is also really low res and the building looks unfinished.

I don't think it is though. I saw this on Yahoo a few months ago and it wasn't much different. It's supposed to be modern, all glass and exposed superstructure.

If I were to spend that kind of money on a home (which I wouldn't even if I had his loot) it wouldn't be like that at all. It'd be something that the Vanderbilts would envy and yes it would have a moat and sharks with lasers on their head.

Unverified bullsh*t. Nobody would pay $930,000,000 for a small city block in India. I want to see a contract of sale and other supporting documents. If anything the original figure was probably 1B rupees, which is about .59 cents American and someone exaggerated and lied.

This is nothing buy hype and lies. :(

And a moat. You have to have a moat.

What good is a moat without catapults on the parapets and oil kettles along the walk ways?

I would get archers with 150 lb crossbows stationed up there 24/7. Never care much for door to door salesmen or the jehovah witness people.

I remember seeing this on TV recently. Not really my style. I'd rather buy a private island and live there.

For that price I would hope he gets sharks with freaking lazers as security guards as well.

I think I would kill myself, if that were mine. How can this guy not feel like the biggest asshole ever. I've been through some nice neighborhoods and you can kind of understand those huge homes but, this?!

WTF?

It's India... let them see vast displays of wealth.

A home in the suburbs just won't cut it, in India.

Must be $800 million or so in furnishings, because it sure as hell doesn't cost many times more for that much land in Mumbai than it does in Manhattan.

Or it's simply a BS number made up by a journalist.

What's remarkable to me is that an Indian can be so rich.

-John

That's what the British thought. Please take note of Land Rover and Jaguar.

Alright black people, you thought you were the gaudiest? 22s got nothing on this.

Perhaps what's more remarkable is how ignorant you can be!

The four richest Indians are richer than the 40 richest chinese combined! :D

Oh, and the richest person in Europe is Indian! LOL! :awe:

Perhaps you can learn to converse, and realize that not every post is an attack.
