1,000,000 candle power spot light- $14.95

ha! that copper ramsinks for a penny is awesome! btw, i hope you only used pre-1982 pennies--after 1982, pennies are mostly composed of zinc and some copper just for show. zinc is not so good a thermal conductor, so take out the post-1982s!

Just a FYI:

At homedepot and/or Lowes, they have a similar unit.

It's bright yellow. Recharable via included AC or DC (car adapter).

Also has a small built-in secondary light.....nice.

It costs 16.97, no shipping since you just pick it up locally. I've had mine for a year, use it all the time.

Goto www.homedepot.com and do a SKU search for 814171

Target has a 2 million candle light flaslight. It looks like this one but it's blue and white.

Very cheaply made but the brightness is incredible.

Last time I was there the price was in the $30s, but I remember buying it for near $20 a while ago.

If you need candle power, than 2 million is the highest I've seen.

how 'bout using this to annoy ppl in theatres? laser pointers are getting old 😛😛😛

Guys... I have to correct myself. I just saw today a 3,000,000 Candle Power spot light for $40 something.

The thing was huge, heavy, and with two light bulbs. It probably had two batteries inside. So expect a 4mil someday.

I'll have to buy it whenever they have a sale.

I've used the 3 million extensivley. the thing is awesome. it radiates heat 15 feet. you can feel the light on you. but to be honest its hard to visually tell the difference between that and the 2 million.

<< I searched home depot...and I didn't find anything like it...you have linkage? >>

Do an advanced search. There is a check-box for SKU (or Keyword, or brand).

Choose SKU and type in 814171

I would link directly to it, but there is massive session ID cr*p.

<< High intensity beam carries one mile. >>

Does that mean it can shine one mile down the road? (eh?)
>>

Supposedly. It is one helluva intense focused beam. I think it's awesome for the money.

This thing would be great if you were ever attacked by a gang of snowmen, or maybe you could rig it up to be the bat signal (for those of you old enough to remember)

Ahh. brings back old memories..
back in 1985 when I graduated highschool I went to my aunt's house in the Mojave desert.
We "for many years b4 this" Used to do alot of shooting with spotlights at night "we were supposed to only use headlights.. "
BUT of course we helped them a bit.. So anyways this guy about 10 miles away from where we were has some hooligans drive by his house shooting off their guns. this guy calls the cops out.. and guess who gets chased down.....

So. whilst being chased I'm in the back of the truck unloading every rifle and shotgun back there and when thats done I grab the ol 2mill spotlight and shine it in the cops face..
he swerves.. and swerves.. and swerves some more...I hadn't the balls then to continue my assault so I turned off the light.. and we got pulled over and spent a night in jail.. I'm probably very fortunate I didn't kill him or cause him to wreck. Thanks for the DEAL
I'll be a bit more careful with this light!!! 😀

O yea.. I have illuminated hills and mountains in the desert from more than a mile away.. these are QUITE effective illuminators.
