It was only better because it had a nicer interior and was more comfortable to drive. I don't know what they expect from sporty compact. Not like a stock WRX is particularly loud or harsh.

You'd have to be delusional to be considering/comparing both of them. Don't get me wrong, I love Honda (own one, family owns six total), but the civic si isn't even in the same ballpark as the WRX.
