13k miles. 12k doll hairs.

It is in perfect condition. It will be my commuter car. How reliable is it? Is it a gas saver?

I'll obviously test drive it before hand so I don't need to know how it handles, but I would like to hear opinions on it.

Thats all I can think of, but just give me your honest opinion on the car so I can have an idea one what to expect.

Thank you!

Kia and its sister company Hyundai have come a long way recently.
Just remember it will depreciate like a rock, so try and pay it off quickly.
I haven't heard to many horrible things about them. :)

when you buy it change the oil the same day.

other than that, it shouldn't be too bad.

Kias for some reason depreciate more then most cars. But if you want to save a few thousand bucks I'd probably go with an older kia with low mileage. It's not hard to find 00 or 99 spectras with 20 or 40K for 2 to 3K in great condition.

You could probably get into a brand new Elantra for that price. New, with a complete warranty, and a better car to boot.

I'd dig up the 1-2k more and buy a new elantra as suggested. I don't think the 10 year warranty is transferable, or its cut in half when you buy a used kia/hyundai. Plus, their resale is pretty terrible so I'm not sure how good of a deal that really is on the spectra.

dealers are advertising brand new chevy cobalts here for $10 grand even. as stated before, that long kia warranty isn't transferable.
