Doesn't Dell pricematch itself for 30 days? I'm not sure...

it has 2 slots. Don't buy memory from Dell ever! so expensive and adding more is easy.

As long as it is for Dell Small Business, you should be able to use it :)

Correct.

Here are the 4550's tech specs.

Also DO NOT buy RAM with your system either get it from Dell Software and Peripherals during a sale, use a coupon AND get free shipping or buy it elsewhere.

Even for a hardware n00b like myself, removing the factory installed 128MB and popping in 2x256 is ever so easy. Takes about 5 minutes tops.

You can use the 10% off coupon which expires on the 16th. I tested and works with this deal. Plus add 2yr onsite warranty for only 69.

they pricematch for 30 days. i called and said i had a 10% off coupon - didnt even ask me for it- just refunded me aprox $100

id wait as long as possible (30 days from order date) just think 1 week nets this kind of price drop - 30 days should net a even larger price drop :0

Where can I find the rebate form? I want to order one but would like to verify the amount and validity of the rebate first

Can somebody answer a stupid question?

I am thinking of buying this system and wondering if I need the combo of CDRW/DVD. If I am strictly using this to play CD or burn CDrom, why would I need the DVD combo? I will never play DVD on this machine, so should I care?

Also, is this a hot deal or should I wait?

If I pay $660 - 10% coupon - $150 rebate - $50 (Ebay the monitor) = $400. What do you think?

Need your input as deal expires tonight.

Thanks

Anthony

did this price change to $708 - 10% - 150MIR? I cant get it lower than that, without downgrading the 256MB memory to 128MB.

The Free Memory upgrade (128mb to 256mb) promotion has ended! Hence you are seeing an increase of $60! Just select "128MB DDR-SDRAM [subtract $60]" and your final price will be $433.20 + Free Shipping + Tax after the New 10% off coupon

You could always buy the memory upgrade for cheap elsewhere!

Everyone in here is talking about the 4550 and the thread title mentions the 2350, so which one is this deal for?

Yeah I just realized that, at first I thought this was for the 4550 which would make it a Hot Deal.

Then I realized it's for the 2350, making it not so hot.

So what renders you ineligible for the $150? It says "cannot do memory upgrade", but these upgrades seem to be hard disks, dvd drives, etc.... so what makes it so can't get the 150? Can't find rebate form for this period.
