04 TL 6spd (first car of the 3rd gen) a good car with little trouble?

I basically only want to pay for an 04 or 05 the cheaper the better. It has to be a 6sp manual. Who's got one and visits the TL forums and knows the in and outs of the 04?

Friend has an 04' on lease. Trouble-free for the past 2,3 years. Ride is a bit harsh IMO.
