I've got 63K and change on my original pads and rotors, with little less than half of the pad remaining and rotors are fine.

If all you drive is highway that's not a big deal.

My '00 Passat has 87,000 miles with the same pads & rotors.

towed 4 fourwheelers behind it on an 18' trailer, (has brakes though) towed it to purdue and back (6 hour trip).

its been used with extra weight, but mainly highway.

my dad has something like 80k miles on the orig tires of his 2000 Ford F-150. And he's a contractor who drives on gravel roads more than occasionally
honestly, they are just barely starting to justify replacement by the looks of them

BTW: are Yokohama truck tires any good? that's what he said he was thinking of getting to replace the old ones. Not sure which model tire

You have no argument. Unless you're trying to argue that you're a moron.

My arguement is why brag about a truck? Wouldn't you brag about an engine conversion? I just don't get it. Yeah, I'm a moron. Perceptive for someone who's known me for 2 seconds...

WTF are you trying to say? That a car can't pull a trailer? Yeah it can't. A SUV can, truck isn't the only thing. My point is why brag about a tire change out... sigh, nevermind.

wow you really are blind.

you picked on the "killing the environment" and then you changed to the bragging about a tire change when obviously that wasnt it. also have to realize that 17.6 mpg for a vehicle of that size, with a 5300 engine in it, is pretty good gas mileage.
