When it says 0% for 36 months does that mean the payments are based off of 36 months or is it 60 months with the first 36 months being interest free. Assuming I want to go with the 60 month option.

If you want 60 months it's likely that you'll be paying interest
 
I would think it means the loan is a 36 month loan. It is more likely that the longer term loans will have a higher interest rate although I had a 1.9% 60 month loan on my Maxima when I bought it back in 2003.
 
JM is right, it is for a 36 month loan. If you want 60 months, the terms will be different.
