Which would be a reasonably fair point if the 6700k was represented in these benchmarks...

NB: The 6700 clocks at 3.4GHz. The 6700K clocks at 4GHz. The 7700K clocks at 4.2GHz. ~800MHz difference. Imagine how many people would be crying foul if the 1800X had been underclocked by that much for these tests.

Ahh, I didn't notice the K was missing. In that case I agree.

Pretty meaningless benchmark for the newer/faster CPUs due to the 144fps cap, you essentially have the top 5 CPUs stuck at a 144fps average (at 1080P). Even if they had included a 7700K it would hardly be any different to the 6700 or 1800X score... which at 140fps min / 144fps avg is virtually almost stuck at the framerate cap.
