Eight months after a white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville ended in the death of a counterprotester, the loose collection of disaffected young white men known as the alt-right is in disarray.

And Richard Spencer, the alt-right’s most public figure, canceled a college speaking tour and was abandoned by his attorney last month...

At Stormfront, a large white-supremacist online forum whose threads were read by some alt-right members, few were donating money. “It’s that time of [the] month again, when the big, scary bills hit,” site creator Don Black wrote recently. His wife, according to site members, has stopped financially supporting the forum, and his son, Derek, has rejected white supremacy. “Our contributions have once again totaled less than $2000, which is not enough to cover our basic server and radio bills, and this month we no longer have enough personal money to make up the difference.”

Seriously though, it wasn't 2 months ago and I kept hearing about how white supremacists were recruiting on college campuses in record numbers. Hell, Madeleine Albright just published warnings on fascism 2 weeks ago. I wouldn't trust the liberal media on this, as they tend to prematurely declare victory.

Fringe groups often die out. Though there are always a few die hard's that hang on long after their time has passed. Storm front is a great example, their own members won't send them a few bucks to keep the lights on. Doesn't sound like a movement that's sweeping the nation to me. How much of a Nazi are you if you won't throw ten bucks in the hat once a month?
The thing to remember is that these are fringe groups. They're the nutty edges that don't matter, and would just dry up and blow away if we ignore them. Another great example of the lunatic fringe was the occupy movement. It flashed across the country and burned out because no one took them seriously. They made a lot of noise and even more mess, and accomplished nothing. They quickly became a laughing stock because when they finally got around to figuring out what they stood for, it was absurd.

Except I didn't compare them. I used occupy as an example of a failed lunatic fringe movement. I chose that example because it was recent. It's astonishing to me that you don't comprehend that.
I'm saying that If you leave apples laying on the ground for a month they rot, and the same thing happens to oranges. You're taking me to task for saying they taste the same.
