¡Nero 5.5 BIG troubles!

Hi, I'm the only one with problems sinc I've installed Nero 5.5?
NO Burning software works since then, I get a buffer underrun and an "unknown CD-Writer error" ¿?¿?¿?
Tried in WinXP with the same result
I can't burn CD's!!

Plextor 8/2/24 SCSI CD-Writer
Tekram DC390 SCSI controller

hmmps...

I've just installed 5.5.1.8
and seems to work fine on win2k pro.

But it seems to take a huge amount of cpu processes in
comparisation with the 5.0 releases though...

Have you tried reformatting and using an older version of Nero?

make sure that you didnt install an upgrade version, or if you did that you didnt uninstall the older version first. did you try uninstalling it, then putting the old version back on.

chk your aspi files just in case, make sure you have the september ones installed. nero comes with its own aspi and has been known to FUBAR win2k aspi.

Yes, I've tried to uninstall it and install a new version, but it doesn't fix my problems.
How can I check the ASPI driver?And what can I overwrite?
I've WinMe not W2k
