I'm using a Dell Dimension XPS T500. I don't think it's a hardware issue cuz it's happening to 3 different machines that I log into.

They both have ethernet cards already. I setup ICS with W2K at my house with a dialup account with no problems. I can't seem to get it to work with AOL tho. Getting on my nerves:)

Can someone help please? If possible, is it better to set it up with W2k or W98? I have 2 computers and one is running W2k and the other is running W98.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was running W2K and it would just shut down randomly. It got so bad that it shut down on me 5 times in one day. I believe my profile got corrupted. I deleted my profile and everything is coooool now.

I haven't tried it with XP. When I use the "Picture Effect Button" and click professional, that's when the text is most clear. Does it apply for u too?

Windows 2K. I guess I'm getting confused, cause I have a Abit board with Raid and I had to install the Highpoint drivers to enable it.

Do you have to install any drivers to make the IDE controller on the board to operate at ATA100?

There are 2 black lines that go across my Sony GDM-F520, is there anyway of getting rid of those lines? The Sony manual says that it's normal. I've seen a couple at work and they have the lines also. It kinda sucks if that's normal.
