    I doubt that it is the TCP/IP implementation because XP doesn't cause any issues with a standard CAT5 connection, not even on the machine in question. It seems to be the interaction of XP with the symbol wireless card and/or the wireless protocol that below the TCP/IP layer in the OSI model

    Your laptop has 64 megs onboard and the sodimm you see there is a 64 not a 128. thats whyits a 320 meg max (256+64=320) you can pull out the dimm in there and pop the 128 in but that will only be a 64 upgrade as far as i know all compaq laptops have one dimm slot (at least all i have seen)

    ummmm...... no OS2 was a sort of windows made by IBM in collaboration with micsoft. these days its as good as dead there are still loyal fans but the windows 9x and nt series have killed os2 if you don't know what os2 is then just choose non os2 and i belive you were refering to windows95...
