From all the driver-switching I've been doing, apparently the Performance Tools broke. I removed them from the registry as good as I could, and removed the Program folder, but the uninstall item is still there. Now I can't uninstall the tools, nor use the installer to repair or overwrite...

It was the newest driver, 190.62 that was giving me the issue. I reverted to 182.xx from the Leadtek CD and turned off Aero and Desktop Composition, and for now it seems the issue is gone. Now I'll try to use another non-Leadtek driver. 186.xx are supposed to be pretty good.

When my old XP took 5-10 minutes to load up instead of 15 seconds, it was because of the second SATA harddrive. I could hear a repeating sound as if something was spinning up and then going back to 0 repeatedly, that was the HD.
