    Best bang for the buck?

Here is the system I would build if I was in your situation. ~110 - MSI KT3 Ultra - great mobo, proven to be very stable and has heatsink mounts on the mobo (yay) ~110 - Athlon XP 2000 Retail - if you are doing computer graphics (corel etc) those programs are very CPU limited, not graphics...

    Heatsink/Fan for Athalon XP 2100+

I don't know where you guys shop. SLK-800 is around $45 at almost all overclocker online stores. AX-7 I can find for $25 almost all day. PAL8045A Is easy to find at $35. Each heatsink requires a fan ($10 Panaflo H1A), and you are on your way. So when you say we are talking about 70 dollar...

    Just got my Panaflo L1as...

If you are out of fan headers on your mobo, I would recommend just getting the 4 pin power connector tail, as you will not have RPM monitoring anyway.

    Heatsink/Fan for Athalon XP 2100+

I put together a GA-7DXR+ system before, and if I remember correctly the board has mounting holes, I would suggest going the route of a Alpha Pal8045, or if you need even a tad bit more extreme cooling, a SLK-800. Both are fairly expensive, running between 25-70 dollars. As far as noise would...

P4 Motherboard, CPU & Memory Confusion!

Are you a big Intel nut? Otherwise I might suggest getting the P4S533, or wait untill you can order the new sis 648 chipset Asus P4S8X (or somethin). With the SIS chipset you can have ddr 400 memory. As far as CPU, it matters what you are going to do with it, if you plan on over clocking, I...

What do you think of the Mazda RX-7?

I would look more in the direction of a 1988-1992 Toyota Supra Turbo II. It has the 7M-GTE engine in it, 3.0L inline 6 that is reliable as hell. You can pick one up for about 500-1500 more then a rx-7. My neighbor drives a FD rx-7 and it is a truly beautiful car. My background of my desktop...

    CPU/Memory frequency ratio for P4S533

Why not just set it to 4:6 and get DDR200 speeds?

Looking to get system faster than fast, scsi question.

Actually, NewEgg does carry some good SCSI products. You can get a OEM Adaptec 19160 SCSI controller card for around 200. I would get a Fujitsu 15K RPM, 36.7GB Hard drive, 3.5ms seek time, 160mbs transfer rate, can get that for like 400 dollars. Fujitsus IMO are one of the best, if not the...
