Is it possible to hear the audio while you are recording something? Right now when I hit record, it sort of mutes it. I figure it is just routing the audio to be encoded, but beats me.

Actually, I finally gave up on it. I reinstalled the drivers and the software, but still get the same error message. After I tell titantv to record or watch the show, Winfast says, "Sorry, the data is invalid"

Okay, I have the file type associations correct, yet the error message still comes up. So I decide to reinstall the drivers. The drivers presently on the system are dated 6/12/2002. I follow the instructions exactly off Leadtek's site, but XP tells me it can't find any drivers better (newer)...

I do have the little green EPG button. When I click it, it takes me to the titantv site and shows my local listings. Here's where the problem comes in. I click the little "watch it now button" or the "add it to schedule recordings button" and a box comes up for me to confirm it. When I click...

    Hard Drive not showing up

I've tried the drive in all positions. If I put it in the master position, it starts to boot up just as it would when it was in the old computer. Gateway GoBack comes up and bugs me about the computer clock being different, etc. So I think the info is still on the drive. I will try copying...

    Hard Drive not showing up

I just took the drive out of a working computer, so the drive definitely works. I didn't know if jumper settings mattered, so I tried all of those. The drive was made in 1997, and I can't find any drivers. The older computer doesn't have a NIC, CDR, etc, otherwise I would just get the files...

    Hard Drive not showing up

Okay, update. I went to the admin disk controls, and the drive doesn't have a letter by it. When I right click to give it a letter, that option is grayed out. It is a Fat32 drive, but can't XP read both NFTS and FAT32?

    Hard Drive not showing up

I have an old Quantum Firewall drive from a old Gateway computer. I just need to get some information off of it. I'm running XP Pro. When I plug it in and start up, the computer recognizes it in Device Manager, and says it is working properly, but it isn't showing up in My Computer or...

    Keeping dust out of case?

Thanks for the replies. I haven't thought about the dust masks. And yes, canned air is pretty expensive.

    Keeping dust out of case?

Yeah, I don't know why the house is so dusty, there's a brand new filter in. I thought about the air flow restriction. I guess I'll just have to do some trial and error.

    Keeping dust out of case?

What's the best way to keep dust out of my case. I've got a real dusty apartment, only had my computer a month, and it is looking pretty dusty. Some say put pantyhose on the fan intakes, but they have to be changed pretty frequently. Any advice??

Thinking about buying an NForce board...got a couple questions.

I could be wrong here, but I believe if you add a third DIMM, you won't benefit from the DualBank memory architecture. It will drop the speeds I believe. I have the MSI nforce with 512 meg of Crucial, and it is working fine.
