Nice setup on the Elky and Chevelle. You Chebby guys have it easy for engine performance parts. In comparison the selection for Pontiac is small and the prices are high. I'm planning out an engine build for the 400 right now. The current build is a few years old and while it can smoke both...

Thanks! Sounds like you have some nice rides. I would change my signature but the forum software won't let me. Since my username is over 6 years old, they must have changed the rules, now it won't let me update my profile because my username has an apostrophe in it. So it says it's not a...

Wow. I haven't posted on these forums in ages. Saw this thread a while ago and decided to throw mine in the ring to see what the computer kids think - 1967 GTO It's a '67 GTO hardtop, mild 400 with '66 Tri-Power, cam, headers, 4-speed, 3.55 posi, etc. It gets 10 mpg on the highway.

OK, I'm stupid... (possible HL2 spoiler inside)

OK, I figured it out... Just have to hop and squirm your way past the wrecked van and tanker truck under the bridge. Thanks for the pointers!

How the heck do I get out of here? This is the place where you can take over the mounted gun after you kill the Combine guard. There's a collapsed bridge and I can't figure out how to get out of this big drainage ditch area. Link to a picture of where I'm stuck Thanks for any help!

OK, need to know fast...Best 939 board

I recently got an Asus A8V Deluxe with an A64 3500+ and 1 GB of Corsair XL Platinum RAM. It's pretty. Works good, lasts long.

Starting my own pc repair business, please read.

One of my biggest clients is a plumbing contractor - sometimes they tease me about my $70/hour rate, then I just ask them if they would rather have one of their plumbers fix the computers. Since union plumbers at the shop are charged out at $86/hr they get the point.

Starting my own pc repair business, please read.

Wherever is cheapest if time is not an issue. If time is an issue, wherever is cheapest that can meet the time constraint. I charge $70/hr or a flat fee depending on whether I can adequately determine the scope of the problem. Usually I charge $70/hr to diagnose the problem then a flat fee to...

Is there any small business that is cheap to start?

I made $10,000 last year fixing computers nights and weekends. My company cost absolutely nothing to start up. I started out with 2 clients (my aunt and one of her business associates). I've never advertised or promoted the company in any way, all my work is from referrals. I'm also a...

    POLL: Bimmer or Beamer?

Why don't you take a flying leap, jagoff. Maybe you and aRCeNiTe can get married. But that might make your cousins jealous. You're both dumb asshats. Yeah I'm a prick and if you don't like it why don't you cry to your mommy about it. Like I give a rat's ass what you think. You're all so...

Should I look for a better job?

You should be looking for a way to get a college education! There are very few good jobs for people with only a HS diploma. And the ones that remain are moving to Mexico....

aah crap. No more 401(k) matching.

My company contributes 25% of my gross pay up to a maximum contribution of $40,000. I'm not allowed to contribute anything. But that's a SEP IRA, not a 401(k). Another one of the advantages of owning (or working for) a small business. At the rate I'm going, I'll be able to retire when I'm 60...
