I had the exact same problem. I RMA'd mine too. Did one lightscribe label successfully and then the drive wouldn't recognize any lightscribe media or CD-ROMs. I could still burn DVDs, but I bought the drive for the lightscribe capability along with burning CDs and DVDs. I tried all...
