Hmm... i just realized you D2OL guys are so close to reaching #1 by the year-end. I will donate two 1700+ AXPs to help out until year-end.

Hehe... i ran the D2OL client for long enough... it drove me crazy having to manually delete files to fix broken blocks. The amount of ram the client used was also ridiculous. I actually noticed my mom's laptop being a lot slower than normal while running the client.

Wow, 200-220 K cEMs/sec for a 2.2 Ghz p4? How come our team is doing so poorly then? Is it just the lack of participants? Our team's total rate is about as much as 10 2.2 Ghz P4s then... which is not good enough if you ask me.

Hmm... my Asus A7N8X Deluxe w/ AXP 1700+ is getting about 110,000 cEMs/sec at the moment. Now tell me how P4 is better? That's what I thought. ;) I am crunching away at about 400,000 cEMs/sec total atm.

I got sick of D2OL a few weeks ago, mainly because all my clients would crash and I wouldn't be around to fix them. But the lack of an effective administration team is lame. I have since switched to Seveteen or Bust which has a rock solid client for windows, linux, freebsd, and os x, along with...

Yeah, my client was able to connect about 30 minutes ago. Although, the web site is down again.

Make sure you login and press the "Add Node" button at the bottom of the page. It will then allow you to add your new nodes.

I personally love RH8 more than any other linux distro out there atm. It is definitely the best for a newbie.

RemyCanad: you just wait... I only have 4 Nodes atm, 1 AXP 1600+ Desktop(RH8), and 3 AXP 1700+ Laptops (WinXP). I will be adding more as time goes on.

I wouldn't worry; we can take them ;) BTW, my primary system (Node 11724) is ranked #4 for the day 100 Candidates. The thing that surprises me is that it is only an Athlon XP 1600+ on an nforce. I guess the Linux client is a lot better than I thought. I am running RH8 fyi.

I am wondering if someone could help me. On the D2OL site, I accidently added a node to my list of nodes; how do I remove it? -This happened because I couldn't get D2OL working in RH8 at first, so I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated...
