I have recently installed amd 3000+ on the soltek 939. My cd drive takes about ten minutes before it reads a cd? And I cannot overclock anything, multiplier seems like it is locked at 9 and will not change. Anything past 208 fsb crashes

how come my multiplier is locked at 9

i just went and tried to switch the ide connectors for both of them, did not work, i have tried everything possible. I am wondering if I should reinstall windows because of the new mobo and chip. I have not done that. Operating system is still the same from the previous athlon xp and n2 force...

i tried it on my buddies computer and it works perfectly.....will see what happens. I tried the yellow one and it did not even boot the computer. Maybe i will try hooking it up to ide 1
