Just bought a 1000HE and so far am very happy. Had trouble getting connected to my Netgear N router, however. I installed the latest driver for the WLAN and had to set the network preferences manually and wah-lah! My network never did appear in the search list. Battery life is excellent...

The Antec 900 has 2 120mm fans blowing right on the hard drives, and a 200mm and 120mm fan sucking hot air out the top of the case. My e6850 is running at 24 degrees after being on all day, but I'm not a gamer. Not much room to hide cables though.
