I go to Iowa State University. There are two bookstores, one owned by the university and a private one. The system used at the one owned by the university does not give the isbn but the private one does. Oh wait it isnt an ISBN its a "book code" which is the same. I don't other students know...

Thank you sooooo much badluck!!!!!!!! I went through my university's web site and entered my class schedule to see the books. Then I put those ISBN numbers into that site and wow. They were like 50% off of what I would of paid. Thanks for the link and keep this bumped for others.

The ones in des moines are 29.99 i picked one up. The sign on the shelf says 49.95 but the pci DOES ring up 29.95. I know cause I purchased one.

I would recommend reading the hot deals forum. There are some good deals on dvd drives and rebadged lite-on cdrws. I know I got a dvd player for $10 after rebate. Yeah thats one down side is the rebates but just keep track of everything and if need be call in on it. It might be wiser to piece...

Just out of curiousity have you purchased this stuff yet? Cause if you haven't you might want to check out the hot deals section. You can save quite a good deal of money on some of the stuff. For instance the hard drive you could get a much better deal and the dvd drive. Might want to sift...
