    Microsoft mouse replacement

    I didn't realize the OEM restriction. The CS just told me that mine does not qualify. I just got it from a friend and it actually never worked for me. I saw on the MS website that it could be a software issue. Anybody has an idea how test the mouse?

    I have updated mine to firmware version 3.00. It was 1.25 originally. I burned a DVD+RW after then and everything still worked fine. I saw on the internet that there is already a version 3.10 but HP didn't offer that. Anybody has info about what was fixed/changed from 1.25 to 3.00?

    Rickon66 Thanks for the hint. OM was sold out in Houston but I got the last piece from Sears for 279.99. Their sale price was 499. Very good deal.
