I had it oced at one point, but it was pretty unstable. That could have had something to do with the fact that the fan wasn't spinning due to dust though :-P I'm going to be moving to water cooling too, so i should be able to oc both the cpu and the gpu without too many problems. How soon are...

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of shopping for upgrades for my baby. So far I know that I'm gonna be going with a 2500+, but the other major thing I'm looking for is a new video card. Any suggestions of what to or what not to buy? The rest of the specs of my current machine should be down...

Are there any better programs that anyone knows about? All I really need is something so that I can watch TV, but I don't want a really crappy program. Also it would be nice if I didn't have to buy it to use it for more than 30 days.

Is that WDM thing that i just installed the capture program? If not, shoudl it have come with my card?

It's a VisionTek card and the port on the back isn't actually S-video, it came with a little splitter thng that has one s-video in and one s-video out. I installed all of the stuff that come on the drivers disk, but i don't know how to view the stuff that's supposedly comeing into my computer now.

I an totally baffled. I am trying to get my video card to accept a signal from my DirectTV box and I can't even find the program to make this work. HELP ME!!!!!

I recently bought a used PS2 at FuncoLand and I can't watch DVD's due to the perental control feature. I don't know if there is a default password, but I've tried the common ones like 0000 and 1234 and such. Any suggestions?

those temps are really nothing to worry about, they could be cooler if you really want to spend the money on more fans and stuff, but it's not needed.

there is a connector on the board that is parallel ATA, and it's called PRI_RAID1, and in the manual it says you can use any combination of 2 or 3 SATA and p-ATA connectors. i'm friggin lost.:confused:

i agree, 1.5 is a really nice budget! there was someone on here a little while ago building a machine for 1400, if you try to find that thread, there would be some good ideas for starters there, but newegg is definatly a good place to go.
