OK folks Problem solved thankyou for your input I aren't sure how but its up & running again I think it was a faulty f1 key on my keyboard I had tried pressing it while it was plugged in to another pc & no problem.But I found out it doesn't work every time so plugged in a new keyboard & yippee...
i thought sod it & reinstalled windows on the drive in another pc put it back & still the same so that rules out it being the drive i am begining to think its going to turn out to be my motherboard
Just put the drive into another pc it got so far then said looks like your pc ran into a problem & gave me the choice of refresh windows or shut down pc i shut it down because i don't want to upset anything there so i am hoping now that when the new drive goes in tomorrow the problem will be solved
Already tried that tried booting with just one ram stick then two three & four been through all i can think of barring the hard drive got a new one on its way incase its that
No it doesn't respond at all if i press ctrl - alt - del it shuts down & restarts says on the screen press f1 to enter setup & recover bios but nothing responds so i am kind of stuck
