I love Linux!!! This was a great solution to my problem. Worked like a charm, and I was able to burn the files to DVD's! Haven't seen Linux for a while, it looks great. When is Adobe going to make their software compatible with Linux so I can get rid of Windows? I'm back in Winblows...

First of all, thanks for the help. You guys were right in assuming Win2k. EDIT: Ok I've just tested out the settings and they work well. I went ahead and took off all the 60Hz on all resolutions, so the default now is 70Hz. It's not a bad thing to have it at 70Hz all the time does it? Oh...

How do stop games like Unreal Tournament from going to 60Hz refresh rate? For example, my desktop is at 1280x1024 @ 75Hz, but when I go to a game at the same res, it drops the refresh rate to 60Hz. I want it to stop doing this, is there a setting or a program that does this? Thanks in advance.

Do you play any FPS games? If so, how do they look? I have the Sony SDM-M81 18.1" and games like UT don't look as good as I want.
