G3DN, I had the same problem with my 8KTA3. My 900 T-bird would not do 133 no matter what I did. I'm also going to get a KT7A.

Are people having problems using this drive with CloneCD? I just tested it with the latest version (2.8.3.1) and it worked perfectly. I backed up my copy of AOE Conquerors and it actually worked a lot faster than with my Plextor 12X4X32 SCSI. StuieG

Thanks for the replys. I ended up calling Sony tech support and a very nice guy told me that there was definately somthing wrong. He said that the picture may be slightly off before the monitor is warmed up but nothing like what I am describing. He told me to exchange it since it is only 2 days...
