check your mobo chipset fan to see if is still working. Mine died and gave me problem just like you described.

Ok I have found it for sure. DX 9.0c was it. When I redone computer I installed DX from MS site when i updated windows. When game installed I choose not to install DX due to I 'thought' it was allready there. Loaded DX off of game cd and no problems now :)

I have same mobo. The LAN setting is in BIOS under INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS, look for ON_CHIP LAN. The default is AUTO and other option is disabled. Problem I have is after while online playing it looses it's connection and I need to reboot. I have latest Nvidia chipset drivers in.
