Well, I think the logic here is since hot air rises, you'd want to intake air at the front/bottom, and exhaust it at the top/back. So you would want a fan to suck air in at the front/bottom, and blow it out at the back/top.

He could do much better, but with just a Duron 800Mhz, does he need to? This is assuming that he does not intend to overclock his processor.) Why blow 30$ or 40$ on a high performance HSF when the unit he has is adequate? SoSD

Alright, I have a 1.133Ghz Athlon, and a Thermaltake Volcano II fan, I've used generic thermal compound (from radioshack) after removing the existing thermal pad, my idle temperature in Windows 2000 is 55C, according to the A7V133's thermal sensor, and rises to 57C when I'm playing Giants...

How about a Hedgehog 238M Copper Heatsink with a Sanyo Denki 19.1 CFM fan? I sent an email to PlyCon and the rep suggested that combination.. Or, perhaps even better.. a PAL6035 with a YS Tech 26CFM, or Delta 30CFM fan? How loud is the Delta 30CFM, does anyone know?
