Deepthrot, I am running a K6-III+ 450 @ 550MHz on a BCM VP1541 (BIOS version 1.08) with no problem. You don't say specifically which mobo and BIOS you are using. If your board is a VP1541, your BIOS is not the "latest" if it's not 1.08 If you need 1.08, I have a copy of the zip file...
