I use 4 ram modules, which makes some impact on performance in negative way. My NB is running at 2544 mhz. My weakness is 9-10-9-1T @1700 mhz on ram. Tested it. Also the bios is not optimized well. I got the beta from Gigabyte, which allows me to run this CPU. No throttling etc. . Everything is...

I use this CPU in a motherboard, does not officialy supporting top FX series. Also, my ram is running on low mhz. Only 1700. Cinebench and render software's are preferring high ram settings. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3417#ov

Who the hell wants to use an unoptimized Blender? No matter if intel or amd cpu has been used with SIMD edition, you can clearly see the benefit on both vendors. Best thing to my opinion, make ZEN and rest of the CPU's the same SIMD Blender bench .

According to SIMD scores, FX really holding up. I am actually happy for that :D My CB 15 multi is 758 Now, just want to see the ZEN SIMD score. Side note: i have rendered an animation , which took around 5-6 hours with SIMD build. I recommend to use this version to everyone! Here is the...

I think i will keep my rig. Zen with 16 threads(stock) does 36 sec and FX 8350@4.8 does 67 sec. Despite the fact FX is on OC, still holding up , compare to stock Zen(8/16 threads). I would say, Zen 4/8 will be around 20% faster in most scenarios compare to my rig. Better to just save some money...

How the heck you got the same score with my OCed 8350@4.8 ? I think i know why, i forgot to turn off the APM :D Just tested it. Even with APM off i cannot get better result. That CPU with STOCK clock with that result feels unreal.

Bethesda's tease answered: The Evil Within

Well, it is not truly optimized because the engine came from open gl to dx 11. they had not enough time to finish it. Future engine will support dx 12. So we can hope for a much better engine. i like the visual thing in the game. You know, everybody likes different things.
