    RAM for overclocking A64

unfortunately, here in canada we don't have much from Crucial... the major selections are from Corsair, OCZ and Kingston. so if the OCZ EB can go to ~230mhz then i'm happy with it. it can, right? (i know it's not guaranteed, but that's what oc is about...)

    RAM for overclocking A64

i'm planning to build a new A64 (S754) and overclock. it won't be anything extreme, i'm going for a 3000+ and planning to go to about 2.2ghz or 2.3ghz. as the RAM prices are currently way up in the sky :(, i want to gamble on PC3200 and push it, instead of paying extra for PC3500 or above... is...

    Easy question, probably

best way to find out is to try it ;) i think you adjust that according to the voltage of the AC source. north america uses 110V, so 115 is fine. some other places (hong kong is the only place i know) use 220V, and you switch it to 230 in that case.

Can you use 2x PS/2 with Logitech MX Duo?

actually it's the other way around... mouse being PS/2 and keyboard being USB. but that's ok, because a usb-PS/2 adapter is included for keyboard. here's a pic: http://members.shaw.ca/waynenwh/mxduo_conn.JPG

Can you use 2x PS/2 with Logitech MX Duo?

mx duo has two PS/2 connectors.. one for mouse, one for keyboard. i'm not sure about KVMs for mx duo (i hear lots of issues about the hot keys), but the PS/2 ports are not a concern. :)

is it time to get 64bit?

hahaha yep i have a 72kRPM.. damn typo :o the problem is, the price for athlon64 is double that of barton, and athlon64 doesn't seem to perform twice as good

is it time to get 64bit?

first post here... i'm new :) i've been reading all those tests and benches for the 64bit amd chips, and they sound pretty nice. but is 64bit really worth consideration right now? they keep saying 64bit is "future proof", how long do we need to wait for this "future" until 64bit kicks 32bit...
