SJSHAW, I upgraded to the 40 and on the packing slip it describes the drive as : 40GB ATA-100 7200 RPM. It seems to be fine, speedwise.

Salvador, the rebate form asks for "your system packing slip"Text and the form in the pouch on the side of the box says: THIS IS NOT AN INVOICE and then says in large type Packing Slip, so this is what I sent (after making a copy for my records). Hope this helps.
