I posted long time ago about how to overclock a cpu and today i finally decided to give it a shot.
I just want base 4ghz clock.
Does lowering voltage decrease the life of a cpu?
Specs:
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)
GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB @ 1.1GHz...
But i have a rough idea on how to do it but i thought i should ask you guys first. I did see couple of video on youtube on how to overclock but my bios is different looking and it confuses me.

So, what does that exactly mean? DDR5 which is far superior than DDR3. Is PS4 really getting that as system memory. I do know they a unified which means the CPU and GPU will share the same 8GB DDR5 ram. What happened to DDR4? And PC's only use DDR3 atm. I thought DDR5/GDDR5 was graphics card...

Hmm k and it will be used mainly for gaming and could you pls give me a build with i5 3770k +mobo with 7870 within my budget? And does asrock make good motherboards? And yes I will change the power supply.
And i dont plan to overclock but I plan to add in another 7870 for...
it would be used for gaming purposes and around 600 bucks will be nice any suggestion forget what i wrote :oops: and yeah i would like to play on highest resolution 1600x900 i want lag free and decent recordable gameplay
