to add a little bit of hope to the situation, the new listing does say they ship in one to two weeks, and the old said 3 to 5 days, so maybe they'll let it go and thats why the shipping date is up there for the new one?

I think I'll need to see this cancellation notice show up in my mailbox before believing it. I mean I know the likelihood of them getting cancelled is great and all, but I can surely hope no?

Ok folks. question. When the machine is locked, there is the option to put your pass in to unlock it, and then there is also an option to shut down the computer. is there a way to get rid of this option, maybe through the registry?

Windows 2000 Pro cannot be upgraded to Windows XP Home, only Windows XP Pro

Ok, my basic question is, is upgrading from Windows 2000 to Windows XP worth it? or should I just stick with 2000 until the service pack releases come to a halt? Note - I didn't notice the Poll that came before this. Sorry.
