I have to connect to Microsoft website to download Windows Update Patch everytime after I reinstall it. Is it possible that I can just save those patches and manually install them later?

You are right. After a little search on the web, I added following entries in my lilo.conf:
map-drive = 0x80
to = 0x81
map-drive = 0x81
to = 0x80
I can boot from all 3 OSs from Lilo, don't bother bios any more!

In Control Panel/System/General page, it says the CPU is Pentinum II;
In dxdiag, it says the CPU is Pentinum III.
Is there any way that System can show the correct CPU type?

Finally I got my wd 40GB HD from buy.com( ata100, 7200rpm for $133 if you care ). I did install Windows 98 in this HD and I can boot all my OSs of Windows 98, W2k and Linux, but I have to switch the boot from BIOS.
