Anyone know if the Plextor 708 will get a firmware upgrade to allow it to burn 8x dvd-r media? The pioneer a07 has this capability and is now starting to become available.
Thanks.
I have the intel 875 board and am very pleased with it. It does not have all the tweaking options the other boards have, but I am more concerned about stability. No sound or ieee1394 is limiting and will cost more to add it. However, many people are not happy with built in sound and add their...
Mine fluctuates from 11.5 to 11.8 and then back down to 11.5 every couple of seconds. I have had two bad motherboards with this power supply, which makes me a little worried. Maybe it was just a bad batch of Intel motherboards and not the power supply....
My power supply's 12v voltage continuously fluctuates between 11.5 and 11.8 based on the Intel Active Monitor. What is an acceptable fluctuation? Is it possible I have a voltage drain which is causing the fluctuation? It is a GoogleGear case with 300watt power supply.
Thanks.
No, I am not overclocking. I did put in an enermax 120mm adjustable fan and turned it down to about 1000rpm. I wanted to keep the noise down but still pull a little air over the hard drives. I have not noticed any difference in cooling with the extra fan, but the rpm is very low.
The sonata is about the same noise level as my old enlight case, but is cooler by about 5 degrees celcius and has a bigger power supply. It is consideraby quieter than my other antec 835 case. I think the air vents in the top sides and the big 120mm exhast hole at the back of the case let out...
My 2.4c runs at 35 idle and 50 creating mpegs. I am using the intel d875pbz motherboard. I am using a antec sonata case, which is a little cramped for a board this big. I also have a 10,000 rpm scsi drive, a 7200 rpm ide drive and an ati aiw 9700 which all put off a lot of heat. The case has...
I have a dell 8100 with a western digital 7200rpm 20 gig drive that has recently gotten very loud. I called dell and they asked what operating system I was running. I stated that I had upgraded it from windows ME to windows 2000. They stated that the system was licensed with windows xp and...
Has anyone been able to overclock an asus p4b (sdram) and 1.6a? I have problems with my agp and pci clock speeds after setting the fsb to 133. I do not see any options in the bios to change the clock speeds for the agp and pci bus. I have installed the latest bios.
thanks.
