Thanks! Now I undeerstand why I can't adjust contrast. But is it normal, if you change resolutions and color depth, the monitor just returns to default settings after a reboot of the computer?

I can open 12 windows without doing anything. When i am trading stocks, I want to open 8 windows, i can open only 5 or 6 and and i have to restart windows once or twice even with 5 or 6 windows.My trading software,mytrack is really using a lot of resources with time passing by.

I have P3 600 with win98 and 384mb Ram.I can open 10-12 explorer windows and then i will see no memory alert. However,Rampage shows I still have like 200mb Ram left.but windows resource meter show no system resources and user resources.What do these resources mean? How can i open more windows...
