I am happy to report that, after backing up tons of files and moving my SATA HDD from AthlonXP to Athlon64 mobo, everything booted just fine - with no drivers installed whatsoever.

It seems like everybody's Athlon64 rig uses at least DDR3200. I've just upgraded, and have kept two sticks of DDR2700 (2X512 megs). Simple question: Is the performace bump going to be noticeable if I get rid of the 2700 and pick up the same amount of 3200 RAM? I can't imagine the speed...
