No, I don't think Linux will read NTFS. Do you have any Fat16 or Fat32 partitions? If not, can you create one? Then you could just install straight off of the hard drive. Ratguy

My Western Digital 40 Gig (400bb is the model I think) is EXTREMELY quiet. It makes less noise than the system fans, and I'm even using Panaflo's. Ryan

Have you tried Paint Shop Pro? I believe it's still available as a free downlaod from www.jasc.com . I haven't used the program in a year or two, but it comes pretty close to Photoshop, even offering a few different features. Ratguy
