Is there any problems with running this setup as my understanding is that Office 2007 is only a 32 bit app?

This is what you do then it will almost always shutdown quickly. It is only when I leave it open for days at a time and the memory footprint has gotten quite large that it takes a while to shutdown. I'm not sure what it's doing(would love to know) but just notice the behavior.

The problem with a laser detector is that you've already been nailed by time you detect it....but if cops still use radar in your area then this is a good deal.

I'm planning on upgrading my processor and processor only from an Athlon XP2000+ to like a 2400 or so....do I necessarily need to reinstall the OS or will it be okay?? Any instabilities?? Should be just the same as over-clocking a chip right??

I removed the memory and I didn't get any beeps....same thing happens. The fan does have a yellow RPM wire too. I'm not sure how long the CPU ran without the fan but the mobo does have shutdown protection if the temp reached a certain point which it did in fact do since it was shutting down...

Well, I do have the mobo. The fan crapped out on this CPU a week ago and that was why the computer just kept shutting off I found out. So I replaced the fan and now the computer will not even boot at all as I wrote in this thread...

I have an Athlon XP2000 that I suspect may be fried from over-heating.....is there a way to tell for sure visually??

I thought POS meant "Piece of S...":) I only have two computers hooked up to it on the LAN. One is a WinXP box with a Broadcom 5702 10/100/1000MB that is Native to the Abit motherboard. The other is a Win2000 Laptop with an Intel(R) PRO/100 VE. Both these computers work fine everywhere...

Yeah, I've tried resetting it and turning it on and off. And only my network on the router goes down....my actually internet connection is always fine. It's the weirdest thing....I'm thinking maybe I have a defective router or something.

I just got this Netgear FVS318 Router for my home lan to connect out to my cable modem. Installation was very simple and straightforward. But every 3 minutes it literally dies for 2 minutes and wipes out my whole LAN with every connection. When I say it dies...the lights on the router are...
