At 640x480 at lowest settings, it won't go above 70fps..

I'm on 60Hz (I'm using an 18" Samsung 181T LCD). I'm sure you can get more than 60fps with Vsync off.. I bench around 90fps in RTCW at 1280x1024.

Do you mean a dual T-bird mobo? That i don't know What i do know is that the Asus A7V266 has full official Palomino support. So that would be fine. They're available in the UK now, not sure about the US though
